Daddy and Me time

Here are some random pictures of Robert and Skyler this month. Skyler knows Rob is coming home soon after his nap, so he often go outside and wait for Robert coming home from work (of course he'll be searching ladybugs and watering flowers while waiting). Because Satomi often calls Robert in his name, Skyler sometimes calls him "Rob." RobとSkylerの今月の様々な活動の写真。Skylerはお昼寝から目が覚めたらRobが帰ってくる時間が迫ってることを知っているので花に水やったりてんとう虫を探しながら彼の帰りを待つのが好きです。聡美が「ロブ」と呼ぶのを最近真似をして彼が帰ってくると「Daddy!]じゃなく「ロブ！」と呼ぶときがあります…。

Good Helper

After Satomi finished her dance concert for her dance studio in June (until July, she had about 3 weeks off!), she first attacked the garden to expand more space. Skyler took her shavels, so she used his toy-shavel and ended up injuring her left hand. Yet, Skyler was really into helping Mom and it is now beautiful flowers and plants in the front of our house! 聡美がダンスを教えているスタジオのコンサートが終わってちょっとの休暇をもらっている間にまず玄関のそばにある小さなガーデニングを広げようと取り掛かったものの、Skylerにシャベルを取られて彼のおもちゃのシャベルを使って手を怪我した聡美。Skylerはそんなママにお構いなく一生懸命手伝ってくれました。

Where are you, Ladybug?

Here are some pictures that Skyler is looking for Ladybug. He's been reading "10 little ladybugs" since he was very little and when he saw the "REAL" one, he was so fascinated. Since this day, he run outside to find ladybug every single day. 本物のてんとう虫を初めて見つけて以来毎日外に走って出て行っては「てんとう虫、どこだ～い？」と探しています。

Nutty Mother's Group-Petting Zoo

This is when I and Skyler went to Petting Zoo with our Mother's group. One of our ward members who became full-time stay at home mom started mother's group. The name of the group is coming from her blog. I had a little mist going at the zoo so the picture looks a little foggy. Skyler loves to meet with them every week. 同じワードの会員の姉妹が専業ママになったことをきっかけにママさんグループを結成して最初の活動で行った子供動物園。知っている託児の子供が沢山いるのもあってSkylerは毎週活動に行くのが楽しみです。カメラのレンズが曇ってますが楽しんでる様子がみえるでしょ？

Summer Fun

One of Summer Activities we enjoyed as a family was having Skyler getting ALL WET with water! He loved how he could get away with getting wet besides bath time.　今年の夏家族で楽しんだ活動のひとつは水遊び。Skylerはお風呂以外でも水遊びができることを知って大喜び！

Congrats Robert!!

Yey, you did it, Robert! He graduated in May with BS in Business Management-Finance. No more late night or study groups! He had his graduation at E Center, WVC UT. His parents, Brothers (Brad and Philip) were able to come for the big day! Satomi forgot to bring a camera... She was chasing after Skyler most of the time during the ceremony. とうとう大学卒業したRobert!　家から５分のところにあるEセンターという会場で卒業式がありました。彼のご両親と弟たちが式に出席することができました。当日カメラを忘れた聡美はSkylerをひたすら追いかけていた日でした。

Chap Chap Time

Since we didn't take much pictures in May except our NY family Trip, I have decided to put this video. I know, I asked Skyler "What does the Duck say?" and agreed to his "Moo-ing" after he was looking for duck and found Caw instead. Just the set the record straight, I KNOW what duck says and so does Skyler! As you can see, he loves his bath time! ５月はNY家族旅行以外にあまり写真を撮らなかったのでSkylerの大好きなバスタイムを載せます。彼に「アヒルはなんていうの？」と聞いたくせに彼が牛を見つけて「Moo!]といったのにつられて「そうだね」と言ってしまった私。「そうだ、牛はMooだね」といえばよかったのに…。私もSkyもちゃんと動物の名前と鳴き声の区別はできます！
