Dino theme days

Since we were sick a lot this month, Skyler had a lot of activities at home. But as you can tell or guess, most of them were dinosaur theme. Dino art project, dino science project, dino coloring, dino book reading,...you name it, we probably did it. We made dino hat with paper plates, we colored dinosuar pictures and practiced letters of each dinosuar's. We played mix and match game with dinosaur, danced with dinosaur songs, we used flash light and played hide and seek with dinosuar, made different colored and shapes with construction papers and made a pattern on dinosaur, made fossils with dinosuar and play dough, etc... We also learned hygine such as blowing nose and washing hands with dinosaur (Skyler pretended he was a teacher and dino toys were his students). While we were battling with sickness and busy schedule as usual, we did pretty good job, I think...?

Evan 6 months old!

Even, this very good baby already turned 6 months old this month! He sleeps well, he eats well, he LOVES Skyler SO MUCH, and most of all, he is a happy baby. We found that he is in 30 percentile on his height and weight, but 87 percentile on his head. We also found that he has a mile Eczema, just like Skyler since they both got Satomi's skin - very beautiful but easy to get dry (you know, Japan is surrounded by ocean!). Another funny factor - take a look at a couple pictures of Skyler (the one with helmet and on the chair). They kind of look alike? Oh, this is an odd part. Evan has a blue eyes! Never thought I'd have a blue eye baby!

Go fight win!

Skyler had ear infection and cold...at least that's what we thought. He had ear infection first before cold symptoms even started and that's what Satomi's motherly instinct kept alarming. Finally, after many tests with doctor trips, we found Skyler has sever sinus infection. Poor guy! His sinus was completely compacted with fluid. So, we did everything to help him breathing. Hopefully, his meds are working so he doesn't have to go surgery.

Babies!

Satomi took a picture with her ward mothers who had a baby in 2009. There are still more to come in her ward. Now that I took this picture, I wished to take Skyler going to Sunbeam this year. But...this month, like I mentioned before we were all sick so Skyler ended up only going there 2 times. I shall still take a picture with his sunday outfit soon!

It says all!

Evan says a lot from his eyes...This picture is right about my kids are going to bed. Evan didn't care about smiling at all. You can tell all what he was asking. "Quit taking pictures, just put me in bed!" It was still so cute :D

Sledding!

One of the snowy days, before Skyler and everyone got sick, Skyler and Robert went outside sledding! It looks like Skyler is going down a huge, high hills, but it isn't really. Since we are the row end of our community, we have an extra space where it is perfect for sledding. Skyler had a great time, even though one of the pictures completely looks like he ran into the wall. He really didn't (that's what Rob told me).
