Snow!

We had a lot of snow today. Satomi went to help Youth for food drive this morning. When she came back, we went outside experimenting snow with Skyler. He didn't want to walk in his snow boots or this snow suites that was given last March from his Aunt Naomi (Skyler calls her Nana). As you could see on the video, he just loved the snow man song. Whenever he hears the music, he will dance for you. After we came home, he was a "Eating monster." He ate a ton of food, which amazed us. We didn't know if it was because he was cold or because he used a lot of his energy dancing and singing. You can't see it on these pictures, but he is still skinny guy.

Snow Ball

We thought of putting this video as well for you to hear him talking little better. He is getting better communicating with us. We are excited that now he really tries to repeat what we say to him and want to have conversation (although we don't understand most of what he says....oh boy).

Once there was a Snowman

This is the 2nd big snow of this winter season. Skyelr couldn't go outside the first time because he had stomache flu. This time, he was excited that he got to go outside and feel the snow! He can go down when the song says "small, small, small" part but this time, he just didn't know what to do with his new snow boots. He didn't even want to walk in it until later that evening.

Thanksgiving Point

We went to Thanksgiving point on one of the weekend this month. It was pretty neat because not only they had many displays and original bones of dinosaurs, they also had many sections where kids can touch and feel stuff. Skyler loved it and since then, he loves to read dinosaur book as much as he loves to read Sesame books (of course!). We wish we could read more explanations on each displays because Skyler just kept walking around the whole musium. We are excited to go back there when their garden is open, too!

After Halloween

Sure enough, Skyler wanted to know what he had been giving on Halloween day. After Halloween, he thought he could go and knock doors and they would give him more stuff. His first time candy experience was too sweet. Satomi used it for her 'final weapon' when she wants Skyler to behave good. Some of the pictures are from Thanksgiving point where they had a mini-film studio. Now that first Candy holiday passed, we are excited for the biggest holiday to come!

SLC Temple Square

We went to Church museum and SLC Temple Square on one of the weekend as a family. We were hoping Skyler would have fun at primary section in the museum, but he only liked to be outside and around neat statues. At the end of this slide, we just put Skyler taking bath. This is a part of his night time routine. He loves to make splash and Robert usually get soak wet. He also likes to say "bubble" now but can't take bubble bath because of his sensitive skin condition. You can see his friend "cookie monster" is taking a bath with him.

Happy Halloween!

We didn't know until the last minute what to have Skyler dress up for Halloween. I learned that costumes are on sale on the Halloween day. We found pretty good dinosaur costume. Skyler wasn't happy when he first put it on until he learned that people would gave him more candy when he roar (he says "rawr"). This year was the first time that we actually spent some money for halloween decorations. Also, it was hard yet fun to think of theme dinner that Skyler can eat. Satomi had a really good time trick or treating with Skyler after dinner. Skyler never asked her to pick him up, he walked full 1 hour knocking neighbors door. When we returned home, Rob pat Skyler and said, "Good job Skyler for collecting all of my lunch desert!" This is just a beginning of "sweet parade" until the end of Father's day...America! Too much sweet!
