Zoo again!

Before it gets cold, we decided to go Zoo again. This time, Susan (Skyler's grandmother) and Brad (Skyler's uncle) came with us. It was the first time for Skyler to even go somewhere with them. Skyler thinks Brad is his friend, so he usually likes to be around with him. At the zoo, Skyler was so happy that he could walk endlessly, he fell twice and made huge bumps on his forehead. He was so excited to see animals, especially ducks and bears.

First Step- I can Walk!

Finally, Skyler decided to walk without support. He actually walked with support before he even crawled. We went on our family walk almost every evening this month and it has paid off. He only wanted to walk behind us for a while. Now he walks so fast and he wants to go where he wants to instead of where we want him to go. When we redirect him, he sure expresses that's not what he wants. It is fun to see how much now he communicates.

Fall Greeting!

This is one of our family traditions to go up to Mountain to see beautiful colors. It snowed and rained later that day. Skyler was excited to explore God's creations. At this point, he was only standing for a few seconds and wasn't walking by himself yet. We wish you were there with us. It was beautiful!

Family Time

We enjoyed September's whether. We were able to go family walk almost everyday. It helped Skyler to walk more and explored different world. Now he knows "shoes" in both languages. We can get him to do what we want him to do such as "Let's go get your shoes, can you come down stairs/can we clean up?" etc. The only way we can pull him back from outside is "Ok, you can watch Sesame Street now..." Elmo and Cookie still wins

My Tipical Summer day

This is just a tipical summer day. It was too hot for Satomi to even go outside. In the morning, we often went to see ducks at Rob's work, run errans, and went library reading time. Afternoon, Skyler got to watch Sesame Street while I was preparing for dinner/lunch. Then, when it is cool enough, we just played outside with bobbles or water while we waited Rob to come home. Not much exciting but surely see him grow each day.

Cookie and Me on Skyler's Birthday

We made it! As we celebrate Skyler's 1st birthday, we also patted our shoulder for being parents. Robert did all of the hard work of making cookies and decorating his room as Sesame Street (although, Skyler ran over to the wall and pulled them off, so it only lasted a half a day...). I just did the very easy part-shopping!!! Skyler's birthday was on Sunday, so we celebrated some on different day and some on Sunday. As you can see, Skyler loves Sesame Street, especially Cookie Monster. He was overwhelmed how much he got new toys all at once. He loves every one of them, but his favorite of all is Sesame Activity Ride-on that was givn by his grandparents Biggs. I just have to chase after him when he wants to walk with that.

Summer time

We finally got a time to put things together and update our summer events. This is a mix pictures of Aquarium, Primary Activity (we went to This is the Place Monument), and haning out with Robert's sister Jennfer and her son Spencer when they were in Utah. It's been crazy busy summer, so there are some of our "family activity" that we did this summer.
